Arena District Parking Update

Preliminary construction is underway in the Arena District on the new Parking Garage on the west side of Nationwide Arena. This construction will directly impact Lots A and B, located on the west end of the Arena, and provide a new traffic pattern for fans using the Nationwide Arena Founders Garage (attached garage). With over 10,000 parking spaces within a 10 minute walk of Nationwide Arena, the Arena District and nearby areas will continue to provide arena visitors a variety of parking options for your convenience. To help keep fans updated on how this construction will impact game night parking, this page will be updated periodically as new information is announced.

A. The number of available spaces in LOT A will be significantly reduced, and for Blue Jackets games LOT A will only be available to season ticket holders who pre-purchased season or partial season parking passes for Lot A. No parking will be sold on game nights for this lot. Lot A permit holders may be directed to park in Lot B if demand exceeds the available space. If you hold a season/partial season permit for Lot A, you will be guaranteed a parking spot in either Lot A or Lot B.

B. The number of available spots in LOT B will be significantly reduced. If you are interested in parking in this lot, purchasing prepaid parking passes at arenadistrictparking.com is strongly recommended.

C. Access to the Nationwide Arena Founders Garage (attached to Nationwide Arena) from Neil Ave. will be re-directed from Broadbelt Lane through Lot A. You can also access the garage off Nationwide Blvd. via McConnell Blvd.

D. The traffic pattern exiting the garage will be changed, providing a more direct route to Neil Ave. Garage users who formerly exited the garage and proceeded to Nationwide Blvd. should now exit to Neil Ave. and it is recommended to make a right on Vine St., and another right on Front Street to access Nationwide Blvd.

Event Parking
There are more than 15,000 parking spaces available within a 10-minute walk of Nationwide Arena. All surrounding parking lots and garages offer spaces for guests with disabilities. The designated drop-off site for guests with special needs is at the corner of Nationwide Blvd. and John H. McConnell Blvd. on the west plaza near the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office.

Arena District parking facilities are adequately staffed to assist in directing traffic in and out of lots and garages. All lots and garages will be pre-pay to avoid delays in exiting.

Pre-Paid Event Parking
Standard Parking is offering the sale of parking online for events in the Arena District. Guests may now purchase and print an individual parking pass for Nationwide Arena events at home.  Click here to purchase.
